Roundnet ist eine Trendsportart aus den USA, deren Popularit\u00e4t auch in Deutschland seit einigen Jahren rasant anw\u00e4chst. In den Stadtparks deutscher Gro\u00dfst\u00e4dte geh\u00f6rt das „Spikeball“-Set mittlerweile zum Alltagsbild, offizielle Turniere mit hunderten Teilnehmern sind eine Regelm\u00e4\u00dfigkeit, und auch im beschaulichen Ostfriesland finden sich immer mehr Interessenten f\u00fcr das Spiel am runden Netz.<\/p>\n

Aber was ist Roundnet \u00fcberhaupt?<\/p>\n

Das Prinzip ist denkbar einfach: gespielt wird in Teams gegeneinander, zumeist im Zwei gegen Zwei, mit einem etwa faustgro\u00dfen, weichen Ball und einem gespannten Rundnetz. Ziel ist es, den Ball auf das Netz zu schlagen, sodass er davon so abspringt, dass das gegnerische Team nicht mehr an ihn heran kommt. Dabei darf der Ball nicht festgehalten werden, sondern muss – \u00e4hnlich wie z.B. beim Volleyball – in der Luft gehalten werden. Drei Kontakte hat jedes Team pro Ballwechsel, dann muss der Ball wieder auf dem Netz landen, und der Gegner ist dran.\u00a0 Schafft ein Team das nicht, und der Ball landet auf dem Boden oder auf der Kante des Netzes, gibt es einen Punkt f\u00fcr den Gegener, und einen neuen Aufschlag aus der Hand.<\/p>\n

Dabei kommt es zu dynamischen Spielsituationen mit wuchtigen Aufschl\u00e4gen, blitzartigen Paraden, vorausschauendem Stellungsspiel und cleveren Finten. Teamwork, Geschicklichkeit und Koordination sind dabei ebenso wichtig wie ein gutes Auge f\u00fcr die richtige Situation und eine schnelle Entscheidungsfindung. Das Spielprinzip bleibt dabei aber so zug\u00e4nglich, dass jeder mitmachen kann.<\/p>\n
